HealthTech Horizons: Innovating for a Healthier Tomorrow | February 14–16, 2025 | Hotel Sol Azur Thalassa Hammamet

Opening Ceremony: How Do We Incorporate Hope?

We had the privilege of welcoming Mr. Firas El Echi to open HIS 2.0, a respected Tunisian journalist, author, producer, and communication strategist whose international career spans leading global networks including BBC World, TRT World, Discovery’s Eurosport, France24, and MBC Group.

Drawing from over two decades of experience, his keynote explored a powerful question: How do we consciously incorporate hope in times of uncertainty? Through stories shaped by global media, migration narratives, and strategic communication, he highlighted the responsibility of leaders and innovators to amplify underrepresented voices and transform storytelling into impact.

The Entrepreneur’s Path: Embracing Failure, Building Success

We were equally honored to welcome Mr. Faycel Ouerdien, Founder of Orientea: Kyufi and creator of the F.D.V.E aroma extraction technology. In his keynote, he spoke candidly about the realities behind success; the setbacks, calculated risks, pivots, and persistence that shape every meaningful venture. Rather than glorifying achievement, he reframed failure as an essential building block of growth and strategic evolution.
